Ever give your computer power of attorney?
I did the next best thing - I gave it as much you could imagine. Logins, payments, inboxes, browsers, keys, domains, deployments, logs, journals, and anything else my AI agent needs to act not just on my behalf, but beyond it.
In short, it’s one of the most dangerous things that could exist for me, and it’s beautiful. It’s like staring into the sun. It’s made entire client projects for me in matters of days, and at the same time it threatens my very existence by simply looking at me. A security ops engineer would cry if they saw it.
The trust boundary between humans and machines will only grow smaller as we build better awareness of how to integrate with them - being inherently technical I have this trust, but not all do. Some abhor it otherwise.
I called it Godmode for a few reasons, but the most important one of them: it changes you from thinking in survival mode (limited resources, individual person driving everything) to something much higher-order. Some video games call this creative mode, god mode, etcetera, and being the Black Mirror fan I am (Smithereens is a wonderful episode), I went for it.
It takes a lot of the pain out of managing things as a single squishy flawed human. Does this sound like surrender to a machine? I’d argue the exact opposite. I’m still writing this from the dome, because I want you to get the raw me. Minutia doesn’t deserve the same treatment.
I’m building a suite to help bootstrap and walk through this exact setup. As it stands, it’d be irresponsible of me to do a half-walkthrough here and expect you not to pwn yourself.
